TRAGIC ACCIDENT TAKES ONE OF OUR OWN…

April 5, 2019; WKRC Ohio is reporting that 25-year-old Edward Walker Brightwell, III, also known as “Walker”, the owner of Windy Ridge Motocross was tragically killed in a bulldozer accident.

This terrible loss was reported initially by the sheriff’s office after they responded to a call at the Windy Ridge Motocross facility in Ripley, Ohio at approximately 1:00PM

WKRC reports that “Deputies say Brightwell had been operating the bulldozer when he got off and started to walk away. He realized it was still moving and tried to get back into the cab to stop it but he lost his footing and was run over by it.”

Mr. Brightwell was reportedly taken by medical helicopter to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

A group of more than 100 fellow riders took a memorial lap in Brightwell’s memory Saturday.
